The Earth is Round, but the World is Flat.

This is my new book!

Not that I frequently publish new books!

Well, that’s the second one in my entire life, at this point.

So, I am pretty happy to announce this: this is a new book, and it’s about « low energy nuclear reactions ».

Well, not only.

Or to be more precise, this is a – short – book dealing very much with low-energy nuclear reactions – I’ll have a word on what this means shortly!- but it goes a little further.

A little further because all I know about « low-energy nuclear reactions » is that they tell a story which is essentially the story of humanity.

How?

Well, we humans have a tendency to be cautious about what can drastically improve our lives and in some cases save them.

« What! A rope? Nope, I won’t have that one. I have been told ropes are unreal or at best, dangerous, so, no, thanks. »

« But, boy, you’re drowning at this point. Do me a favor, grab this line, and keep your life!’

This is precisely what low-energy nuclear reactions are at this point.

They tell a very interesting story, they are as real as anything can be, yet stille « Nope! Ah, ah, well played, but no, I’m note grabbing that one. »

« But, boy, why not? »

« Well, I’ve been told that the world of science is as flat as can be: the map of the the Standard Model is laid out on the table, and it’s a flat table, most evidently. There is nothing under it, and- at the risk of repeating myself- this table is flat. How could it be round, pff? That’s ridiculous, there is nothing outside the Standard Model ».

Sounds a little exagerated ?

Well, believe me, it’s not. Not at the slightest. I have had talks with heads of laboratories absolutely infuriated that I, the representative of a serious institution, would have the nerve to mention cold fusion to their face.

Or even more unbelievably, « biological transmutations ».

Biological what?

Transmutations, honey. See, that’s the word that defines radioactivity. Radioactivity – which, by the way, is a very common and natural process – is the result of what we called « nuclear disintegration » but it is actually a nuclear transmutation.

And yes, that word was used by alchemists.

Which is probably why it’s so feared in modern-days labs.

Was alchemy ever successful at transforming lead or mercury or silver into gold?

I don’t know for sure, but this book, « The Earth is Round and the World is Flat » nevertheless points to some troubling facts. See, people who, within a few years, went from zero wealth to astronomical fortunes, in each case with a scent of alchemy around them.

Anyway, a few years ago, I contributed to the birth of a European consortium in the field. I met remarkable physicists along the way, and this book is to support a new field of research and development that I believe could litteraly save the world.

« Ah! Save the world? Nothing less? Come on!.. »

Well, okay. Let’s « come on » then.

Let’s « come on » to the reality of wars fought over competing convictions, but that are mostly about oil, coal, and primary resources.

Let’s « come on » to a new world:

A round world.
